Prowler arrived safe and sound about 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning - they were delayed because of the bad weather. Anyway, Tom and Lynda (the owners of the stable where I am keeping him) greeted him at the truck and said that he was a PERFECT Gentleman. They said he went into his stall and drank a pail and a half of water and them ate some hay. He even felt so comfortable he laid down in his stall to take a rest. They also
commented on what a lovely temperament he has, not only towards people, but other horses too! Kudos to you and Stanley for raising such a nice horse. It speaks volumes of your training style and techniques...you should be very proud. Tom and Lynda wanted me to pass on to you how clean and beautiful he was when he arrived. They were impressed. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to build a relationship with such an incredible creature. You are right, he/we are o! nly going to get better. I already feel like we have established a bond. Can't explain it, just feel it. And he loves it when I rub his ears and poll - he drops his head - I swear he would say "Ahhhhhh" if he could. I spent the entire day with him yesterday grooming him and loving him and plan to go back out tonight. We took pictures and I'll send you some as soon as we download them to the computer. My plan is to let him rest most of this week and get used to his new surroundings and hopefully ride him this weekend. The shipping company was fantastic and even they commented that Prowler was the best behaved horse on the truck the entire trip! Thanks again and I'll keep in touch. Warmest regards and talk with you soon. Donna D. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hi Lisa, I'm not just enjoying my new boy, I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with him. I must say again how grateful I am to have the pleasure of sharing my life with such a remarkable creature. You were right when you said he would just get better and better...........People are constantly amazed at his kind and gentle spirit and comment all the time about how very, very smart he is. As far as my husbands horse you will be the first person I contact - and I'll make sure we have plenty of time to wait for a horse if necessary. There is NO WAY my boy is going to anyone else but me.....even my husband:-).....we will just have to find Bob his own "Prowler-type" when he is ready. Right now, Prowler and I see each other about 5 -6 times/week. I'm boarding him at a friends stable and there are only 6 horses including Prowler. Lynda, the owner, is helping me alot with JLyons training and we are having a BLAST! &nb! sp;Prowler has fun too, but I can tell you and Stanley did alot of work with him before I ever got him. "Prowler" and I have such an incredible bond it even amazes me. I never, never thought I could connect with an animal the way I have connected with him. It's like he can read my mind. Have been doing lots of round pen work with him and arena riding. I'm getting much better at getting him in his gait and keeping him there. I appears I wasn't allowing him to balance on the bit like he needed to in order to gait...............he is VERY patient and forgiving with me and I will be eternally grateful to him! I'm sure he is thinking .....what a "newbie" better be extra careful with her :-) (He is that smart too) Not to mention that he is just so beautiful on the outside too..........but I REALLY love the inside more! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I wanted to let you know that Indian River has settled in nicely and we really enjoy him. He rode home perfectly in the trailer. I rode him for the first time on Monday. He is very gentle on the ground and under saddle. David reset his feet behind and he was also a great shoeing patient. I just walk him slow and ask him to gait for a few minutes at a time. I plan on taking it slow with him as he is still young and developing his body and muscle tone. River absolutely is one of the friendliest horse I have ever met. He is all over me when I am in his stall and follows me when we are working in the round pen. My friends have commented on how pretty of a horse he is. I look forward to training him. I decided since he was so gentle I would handle his trail riding and training. Thank you again for such a great horse and I will keep you posted on our progress. Thanks, Lisa ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We were back out at the stable last night, and Smokey had calmed down very well. Great for a baby. He stood well as Jennifer and Rachel groomed him. I was even able to lift up his feet, so trimming his hooves shouldn't be too much of an ordeal. I don't think he wanted us to leave when we put him back in his stall. The girls are in love. Dawn ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hi Lisa: I don't know if you remember but I bought TC from Chip Fugate last fall and while I was trying him out, Chip trailered him to your house and you were kind enough to go riding with me on your property so I could get a better feel for TC. Anyway, the next time you talk to Chip, please let me him know that TC is doing fine and that he has a home for life with me. He is, without a doubt, the best gaited horse I've ever had. His gait is wonderful, his training is wonderful, and his attitude is wonderful. Pretty much everything about him is wonderful. I love him, my nieces love him, and I can put anyone (total novice or experienced rider) on him and he adjusts perfectly to them. I could go on and on with stories about how good a horse he is but I don't have time to type that much and I'm sure you don't have time to read that much! But if you don't mind, the next time you see Chip, let him know that I am so glad I bought TC and I will keep him for the rest of his life. Rose B ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Lisa, Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. Kemosabe had a good trip down to Florida. He is in training with the Conkles, to finish him off for trail riding. I am very pleased with him, and also was very impressedwith your facility and stock. It is nice to know that there are still honest people in the horse business. Best regards, Scott J +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I'm watching Monty munch in the pasture with his new friends right now. He is beautiful and is already a member of the family. I had to reassure my mare that she is still special because she sees me spending so much time with Monty!! Thank you for this great gift. Jacki ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hi Lisa, Hope all is well with you and yours. Pedro is just quite a delight!! Everyday I fall more and more in love with him. We had a great ride today - just the two of us. He is so trusting and calm. He really is all that you described and wonderful. I can't thank you enough for all his training and care you gave him. Take care, Grace ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Lisa, Friday is doing great and we love him to death. We named him Midnight. Terry's little grandson calls him that and it stuck. LOL! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Morning Lisa, I wanted to let you know I have been working with Dixie every day- She is so stinkin smart! She will park out, let me pick up all her feet…I have been working on getting her mane to lay down to one side and even put a slinky on over her head…lol She had a blast out in the roundpen….I Love watching her gait- She’s so proud and she knows she is a pretty girl!! Happy Monday! Kim

You have an AWESOME line of horses and a GREAT breeding program. Thank you for sharing your horses with us. They are the most enjoyable we have any dealings with. Very intelligent. Please continue doing what you are doing. Blessings, Edwin & Melissa
